Before you export your project, it’s a good idea to save all of the changes that you have made. To do this, simply go up to File then Save at the top menu.

When Premiere Pro auto-saves a project, a directory named 'auto-save' is created in your Creative Cloud online storage. All the backed-up projects are stored in the 'auto-save' directory. You can access your backed-up projects from the Files tab of your Creative Cloud desktop application. Premiere’s Auto-Save is about to become your best friend! Locate the Auto-Save Folder. Premiere stores an auto-save folder for each individual project. This folder is typically located next to your project file, alongside the Audio Previews and Video Previews folders. Locate the Most Recent Auto-Save. Once you open the Auto-Save folder, you. I guess they’ve made it a tad easier, as I’ve found out after some digging: In Premiere Pro 2020, they simply store auto save files next to the project file, in a folder called Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save. So wherever you save your project, that’s where you’ll find the Auto-Save files, in a sub-folder.
Next you will need to open the export window. To do this, go to File at the top menu, then down to Export and select Media.
A new window will open allowing you to see the settings that your video will export at. In the top right hand corner of this window, first make sure that under the heading Format, your project is set to H.264.
Now you can choose where you would like to save your project and give the file a name. Click on the title of the file next to the heading Output Name.
A window will come up allowing you to rename the file and select where you would like to save it. It is best to save this to the Desktop so that you can easily access it. Once you have re-named the file and chosen the location, press the Save button.
Now we just need to change one last setting so that the video exports as a 360° video. Go to the Video settings tab in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
Scroll to the bottom of these settings and click on the check box next to Video is VR and make sure the drop down menu is set for Monoscopic.
Now you are ready to export the project. Go to the bottom right hand corner of the window and press the Export button.
Your video will then begin exporting. Depending on how long the video is, this may take some time. 360° Video projects tend to use large files so this may take some time. Once it is done you will have a .mp4 file on the desktop that you can then use to upload.

When working with a large project oftentimes the sources of footage come from many different locations. This can pose a problem if an editor needs to share the project between more than one location.
Today, I am going to show you how to export an in-progress project from Premiere Pro and After Effects and package it all together into one location. This location will contain the project, all the source footage, and all the metadata. This will allow you to move the project to a new computer without having to worry about locating all the footage or being worried about missing something.

How to Collect Files and Easily Share Projects in Adobe Premiere Pro CC:
- Go to File and select Project Manager… .
- Select all the sequences you want to include in the shareable folder.
- Under Resulting Project select the radio button that says Collect Files and Copy to a New location.
- Under Options unselect Exclude Unused Clips if there is still footage in the project that you have yet to place in a sequence.
- Leave the rest of the options as default.
- Under Destination Path click on the browse and select a place you want your collection of clips and metadata to be saved. Once you find a location hit the Select folder button in the popup. (You must select a folder so creating a new folder is not a bad idea)
- If you want to know how big the file size will be, under the Destination Path Section hit the Calculate You’ll see the size in the section labeled Resulting Project Size (est.): .
- Click the OK
If you open up the folder where you just exported the project you will see another folder with the name of your project and the word “copied” prepended to it. Inside that folder is all the information Premiere Pro needs to open that project on any computer.
